Retainers & Pricing
TwoBridge Legal doesn't work from a fixed menu.
Every engagement is structured around what makes sense for where your business is - the nature of the work, the level of support you need, and how you prefer to operate.
What stays consistent across all of it is the quality of the work and the seniority of the person doing it.
Built around your business
We take the time to understand your business properly. The contracts, the risk profile, the commercial pressures, the decisions that land on legal's desk. That context shapes everything - it's what allows the advice to be genuinely useful rather than technically correct.
From there, we work in one of three ways, or some combination of them:
For businesses or legal teams who want a consistent senior legal presence, a retainer gives you access to TwoBridge Legal on an ongoing basis. You get a set level of support each month, the reassurance of a senior legal partner who knows your business, and the flexibility to draw on that support in the way that suits you best.
Retainers work particularly well for businesses with a steady flow of commercial legal work - contracts, procurement matters, compliance questions - where having a trusted, embedded resource makes the whole operation run more smoothly.
For a specific matter where you need senior legal support with a defined scope and timeline, we work on a project basis. This might be a complex supplier negotiation, a new commercial framework, a regulatory review, or any situation where you need experienced legal input that can be stood up quickly and managed to a clear outcome.
Project engagements are scoped carefully at the outset, so you know what you're getting and what it will cost.
For businesses that don't need ongoing support but want access to senior legal judgement when a specific issue arises, we offer ad hoc support. This is designed for situations where the need is real but unpredictable - a contract that needs reviewing, a question that needs answering, a decision that needs legal input before it can move forward.
A note on pricing
Pricing is agreed at the outset and structured to reflect the type and volume of work involved. There are no billable hour surprises. For retainer engagements, you'll know your monthly investment before we start. For project and ad hoc work, we agree a clear fee before any work begins. We're happy to have a straightforward conversation about what a particular type of engagement would cost.
If you're not sure which model is right for you, that's a good place to start.
